Children- Sahil (24), B.Design from NIFT, Delhi specialized in Product Design. Masters in Furniture Design at SCAD, Savannah, Georgia, USA.
                  Taarini (20) pursuing Animation Film Design at NID, Ahmedabad. Was part of the Indian Womens Soccer team U-16 and U-19.
                  Neptune (14) Udta Punjabi Labrador Retreiver!

Professionally- After graduating from AFMC, came to New Delhi and completed my internship at Safdarjang Hospital, along with Anya,Hitesh, Arya, Harni, Vivek . Did my MS in Orthopaedics from NHL, Ahmedabad and DNB and after a few years in Beas, Coimbatore, Calicut  finally settled in Chandigarh.Extremely  satisfied professionally with a special liking for modern traumatology , paediatric orthopedics and orthopedic infections.
Being in Chandigarh has been a blessing because of the Command hospital too. I never felt too far away from fauj and my fauji friends. Along with Mandy and Sandha, my city mates, we have had memorable times and regular blasts with Softy, Thary, PC1, Reds, Ashwani, BKG, CM, PP, Surdy, Malik and so many other batch mates posted here or in transit.

In college was usually seen with- MS, Reddy, SK, Khannu, Harni, Lavan, Cutts, Tuli, Bal, Sood,Khunga, Paddy, Roop,Punit, Saran, Bhanu, Softy........



Hobbies- Difficult to list all. Very fond of outdoor activities like cycling, trekking, paragliding, SCUBA. Did the "Chaddar trek " last winter . Preparing for the Mt. Kilimanjaro climb next year.
Regularly travel to Africa on International Rotary medical missions. 


Memorable moments  /  ...So many. Both Harni and I had the proud privilege to be in the U  batch. 
Weekend drinking sessions and regular escapades to Lonavala and Mahabaleshwar with MS, Reds , RJ, Khannu, SK,Harni.
 

Reminded of the numerous  failed strategies on and off the hockey and soccer fields of AFMC, JIPMER and Wadia College. 
Inter batch rivalries, especially with T batch.
The BB week carnival and our gifted hoopsters and the Insti parties.
Body building competition with our very own WWF guy YK.
Discussions on love and life with Suman, TC , Wajiha, Hima, Harleen (probably they would not remember)
 

Punit Yadavs accurate pass while playing one of the hockey matches at AFMC. It came straight on my nose and i lost my sexy ,sharp nose permanently. Still carrying those scars on my face and brain.
Met my beautiful wife Nivedita from X batch in college. On the dance floor to be precise.

Favorite teachers...KKPK, Juda, Kasbekar, Mysie, Siva.



If not a doctor.....then probably a adventure tourism specialist.
The future--Excited about India and its rising stature in the world. Looking forward to tales of acievement and success of the Ulings. They are all poised.
