What
I could change about myself— to try and watch movies till late night
Wish
I could change about AFMC – nothing
If
I was not a doctor – I would be a chef
The
journey so far:
Has
been wonderful. Joined the Army, posted
to INHS Asvini as an intern, then moved to MH shillong as MO. After 2 and a half years
and marryning DJ, changed to Air force and was posted to AF station Borjhar
–Guwahati as MO. Had my first daughter
Divya at Guwahati. After a 5 year short
service spell – I did MD micro in AFMC.
Then had a 4 year hiatus for baby sitting my second
daughter – Shivani-in Gorakhpur ( the best years of my life!!).
We
moved to Delhi where I was fortunate to work in Sir Ganga Ram hospital for 5
years. We then moved to the lovely city of Bangalore in 2004 and I joined Manipal
Hospital, Bangalore. I’ve been involved with hospital infection control and
with the WHO for workshops on training on antibiotic testing. Then onto Mumbai , Delhi and now Kolkata.
My
thoughts: Live the moment
Where
do I see myself in the next 10 years –having travelled the world
I write small blogs on everyday happenings and my thoughts.

TC, her small frame envelopes an indomitable spirit and a wellspring of positivity & goodwill. She faces the good, the bad and the ugly with the same optimism & faith and stands tall in the midst of the twists and travails of life. What better measure of positivity can we get than the joyful pleasure with which she ate the path Gobi concoction offered in our mess?????
ReplyDeleteHer enthusiasm is unparalleled, be it birding, trekking, whipping up a yummilicious array of delicacies, conducting workshops for WHO or assessing huge corporate hospitals, organizing reUnions or Ukipedia, TC U are one in a million!!!
Thanks Sudha for all those lovely words. Humbled
