A Journey through
Memory Lane
My
Alma mater. A
life changing experience. College provided immense opportunities to open our
vistas. We grabbed some and let others go by…. Made some lifelong friendships
which one still cherishes. These are like single malts - they get smoother with
time.
My
Journey in Uniform. Life in the services has been a very
satisfying experience. Time spent as a ship medical officer provided the
adventure followed by a tenure in the unspoilt islands of Andamans. Marriage to
Punam gave a lot of focus to life. PG time rekindled the memories of college
life albeit in slightly more dignified environs. Rishab was born during my CT
time in Pune and had the fortune of delivering Raghav myself at Goa. Two tenures at AFMC gave one a chance to
give back to the college that made us what we are today. One realised how well
focussed and talented the UGs of today are.
Found my passion in
Endoscopic surgery and I have to thank the fauj for that.
Crystal
Gazing. Want to go to Nepal to Parajuli sometime and
do some work there - never been able to work my end of the logistics out.
Definitely want to travel the world - started with parts of India. Want to finally
settle in a smaller place with friends and do some pro bono work. I am hoping,
of course, that the money and comfortable living will find its way to us
somehow.
