Spouse: Arockia Arul Prakash, an anaesthesiologist and my silent pillar of strength.
Kids : Josephine Vanessa Prakash( aka chotti)18yrs, starting ECE at Manipal, Jaipur. A K drama enthusiast who has taught herself Korean and Japanese while lesser subjects wait for some attention.
          Rosita Venus Prakash( aka chikki) 16yrs in 12th, a wannabe doctor but spends her time gamely following akka's activities.
          Maximus Dumbo Prakash, 2yrs, who seems to have totally forgotten that his genes have a canine imprint.

A wonderful kaleidoscope of images!
Forging friendships which criss cross the country, traverse oceans and last beyond a lifetime.
Being a devotee of Morpheus throughout and having dear friends like Vimmi, Sumb, Renu and Vasu desperately trying to wake me and impart knowledge.
Being wide awake in the wee hours in the TV room along with Suba, willing John Patrick McEnroe Jr and Chris Evert to win Wimbledon, being floored by Maradona's hand of God, envying the boys celebrating our World Cup victory outside, watching Star Trek and William Shatner with Renu, waiting for Fridays for the World This Week, our access to the world then!
Stretching out in the TV room with Wajiha, Poonam, Madhu and Tini, listening to Sumb's Thandi Hawa!
Deftly whacking plants from the Main Bldg along with Poonam till our collection had crossed the 70 mark!
Being floored by the grace and beauty of CC and Usha's dancing.
BB Week's bubbling enthusiasm and our Blues being aptly described as the Sultans of the Ring by Jayam Lazarus against the backdrop of Mark Knopfler's brilliance.
Anastomosis and Neeta & Suman M's songs, TC's effervescence, Seema V and I guess I could go on and on.......

The Journey So Far :
Internship at CHAF B was an extension of college with Vimmi as my roomie, trips to apna Taj with Vimmi, DJ and Bharghav, an unforgettable ride for Vimmi's wedding, with Vishy taking Suba and me in our Kanjeevaram glory on his scooter!
Fortunately got 2 lovely postings, to 331 FD Ambulance where I got to know Shishir and then to MH Panaji, followed by PG at the then AHDC where I caught up with friends- Poonam,Sumb, Madhu, Seema V,Tini and Sumedha, frequent weekend trips to Madhu's and Renu's homes and the mouth watering aaloo ka paratha and pickle, Poonam and Troy ka shadi.
Moved to civvy street at Nagercoil, touching the southern tip of Bharat Maata. Married Arul, my antithesis, being an academic powerhouse. We have 2 lovely daughters, Chottima arrived screaming in April 1998 and Chikka more sedately in September 1999. Am working in 2 hospitals, one an exclusive paediatric charitable hospital and the other a multi specialty mission hospital.

10 Years Down The Line
Que sera sera!
If I have my way, shall follow the advice of Sumb and Vimmi and find some Me Time to spend visiting friends and places.
Am I happy with my journey? Yes, shall always consider myself blessed, thanks to AFMC and my friends!
